So I got motivated to create more messes and we dyed Easter eggs with food. I read and used the links on
Crunchy Domestic Goddess and overall it was a success.

Eggs with red cabbage makes a deep blue |
I used Tumeric for yellow, spinach for green but got boring grey, red cabbage for blue, and beets with cranberry juice for that weird red brown color. I used a combination of the hot and cold methods. I boiled them for 15 minutes and let them sit for 5 hours. The spinach was a flop because I used a frozen square and added too much water. All in all they are pretty and now we can eat them.
