Our Handmade Christmas Stockings

So...I have had major technical, physical and emotional difficulties here in Colorado.  I apologize for this delayed post, but sometimes that is the way it goes....7 days of sickness,  6 discs a fusing,  5 calls a day, from my 4 year old in tantrums,  3 missing camera pieces, 2 turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree...so see I am crazy too. But what I really want to talk about are our stockings. My grandmother made her sons stockings in this style and my mom continues the tradition. She made all of these -down to the last sequin.  Aren't they all so beautiful?

With the exception of my mother's danty boot, they are all big which is awesome when your arm gets lost in all the treats Santa leaves.  Looking at the mantel it is nice to reflect on how our family has grown over time.
