The Love Kitty

Is it school or the endless snotty nose that has taken my sweet child hostage? Lately, we have had many the run in over me asking her to do something she does not want to do, or me not getting into her room fast enough, or me not being able to decode the whine language.  Anyway, I bought all these wool sweaters at the thrift store, felted them, cut off a sleeve, sewed up the top, tacked down some ears, sewed a circle on the bottom and then finally a tail.  Then, luckily I found that hat in my yarn bin - perfect! And see that needled felted heart?  That is my first ever needled felted anythingy.  I took a cookie cutter and stuffed it with roving and bang bang a heart, really a heart pocket in this case.   Ida and I can leave love notes to each other in there, because really everything is solved through love and love kitty reminds us of that.
